A strong, deep and penetrating aroma with the scent of raisins, plums and dried fruit and spices. The taste is perfectly balanced with a discreet sweetness and notes of toasted oak. Extremely soft and long with a light sweetness of plums and raisins and a slightly spicy finish.
Single Cask brandy selected by spirits manager Søren Beyer. The cask yielded 120 bottles of these luxurious drops.
About Bodegas Ximénez-Spínola
It was Phelipe Zarzana Spínola who in 1729 founded Zarzana-Spínola, which today is known as Ximénez-Spínola, with the aim of exclusively cultivating Pedro Ximénez. To this day, only the Pedro-Ximénez grape is produced at Ximénez-Spínola, and the wine is aged in 500-liter oak barrels, also known as Jerez export barrels. However, Ximénez-Spínola also implements new measures, e.g. they are the only ones in their district to try a Late Harvest in addition to the traditional sherry.
