Tullamore Dew 100 CL 40%

Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey

Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey comes from the city of Tullamore in Ireland and was launched in 1829. Tullamore DEW is the most sold whiskey in Denmark and the second most sold whiskey in the world. Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey is stored 4 years on old oak barrels and then goes through a unique manufacture with 3 distillations and drying in closed ovens. This process makes the whiskey’s natural, pure taste penetrates in the finished whiskey. Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey is known for its soft and round taste, without smoked undertones. The taste can be described as sophisticated with a comfortable maltic with underwoods of burnt wood, as well as the natural taste of golden barley. Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey is a super good whiskey to Irish Coffee, as it has its natural soft whiskey taste that is not smoked. Tullamore DEW can otherwise be enjoyed with some ice cream or water, or in drinks, such as whiskey and cola.

Tullamore DEW is an extremely known Irish whiskey. It is best known in Denmark for his performance in the popular drink Irish Coffee. But Tullamore DEW can also easily be enjoyed clean. It is a good start to be introduced to the whiskey world as it is mild and not at all smoked. Tullamore DEW is made of a blend of Malt Whiskey and Grain Whiskey who has got a short fleet ring. The whiskey is Tripple distilled, giving an extra soft finesse.

The difference between Irish Whiskey and Scottish whiskey, in addition to the spelling, Irish whiskey as a basic rule is distilled 3 times, where Scottish whiskey is only distilled twice. Irish whiskey is also not distilled over peat like Scottish whiskey does, resulting in that it is not smoked at all. There are, of course, types that stand out from the rule, but then this is always mentioned on the bottle.
