Trois Rivières Rhum Vieux Agricole – Aged 12 Years 70 CL 42%

French Plantation Rhum – Martinique

French Rome style, here from Martinique called Rhum Agricole – Agricultural Rome. Rome on Martinique is perhaps the most “honest Rome” in the world. The French rules (AOC) prohibit adding sugar and color caramel. Nor must be “fifbles” with age. It is the youngest Rome in the mix that puts the age on the bottle.

The sugar cans are pressed just after they have been harvested and the sugar cane juice. The method came in the late 19th century in Martinique. The sugar prices in the world market were so low, so Homère Clement came with the idea, making Rome of the fresh sugar pipe juice. Not a quality decision, more out of reality.

This “Très Vieux Rhum Agricole Trois Rivières 12 Ans d’âge” is the result of a blend of several fantastic Rome, in an ex Bourbonfad. The room is robust and “colorful”, with an exceptional aromas.
