Togouchi 12 years of Japanese blended whiskey comes from a mountainous area near Hiroshima, Japan.
Although the malt and grain whiskeys that are mixed originate from Scotland and Canada, Togouchi has a Japanese soul. Aging, mixing and bottling takes place in Japan by Chugoku Jozo. The temperature of the tunnel for storing whiskey at Togouchi is always 15 degrees, and the temperature of the basement at headquarters in Hatsukaichi city is a little higher than that. Fade from both locations helps to create a complex blended whiskey where the taste is characterized by storing on oak barrels, and the smell also contains fine delicate notes of peat.
It is a very charmed dram with good depth and intensity. The finish is long and delicious
