This room is distilled at Bellevue the distillery.
The distiller is in the heart of the largest sugar tube plantation on the island of Marie Galante in Guadeloupe.
The estate Bellevue Au Moule and their distillery were established in the late 1800s.
Their famous wind turbine is built back in 1821. Bellevue is, moreover, the first distillery in the Caribbean who has committed itself to protecting the environment by having a 100% non-polluting production process.
The ROM is an extremely rare old bottling of all over 23 years
It is a single cask bottling of pure column distilled room, based on molasses.
It is stored / matured both tropical and continental in Bourbon dishes, where neither color nor sugar has been added.
