A 2005 vintage Secret Orkney single malt from bottler Signatory Vintage, made at a mysterious distillery on the island and matured in a first-fill oloroso sherry butt for 17 years before being bottled in January 2023 as part of its Cask Strength Collection. Highland Park
roma: Fruity notes of sherry, juicy blueberries, warm fruit punch and delicious peat smoke. Behind, delicate heather, salt and cardamom slowly emerge.
Taste: Rich with dates, chocolate-covered sultanas, fig syrup and juicy wild berries. Candied orange blends with salted caramel, sweet smoke, cloves and sticky tobacco.
Finish: Long-lasting and sherry-heavy with subtle smoke and delicious spice.
