It can also be mentioned that Laproaig has received many awards over time – especially in 1998 when the brand received a total of seven awards.
Nose: Bold and buttery nose, with caramel, nut, hickory, bicarbonate of soda, rum and raisins and peel.
Palate: Big rush of sweetness, in fact it’s an explosion of sweetness, with burning chilli heat, TCP, sweet cereal and a touch of cola syrup.
Aftertaste: Medium long, but becomes fruity, with cream and cigar smoke.
