Isautier Café Vanille is a liqueur made from molasses rum from Reunion Island.
This original arrangement comes from the combination of macerate from the best Reunionese coffee, bourbon pointu and bourbon vanilla. Pointed bourbon is an endemic variety obtained from a spontaneous mutation of the Arabian coffee tree, called the laurina mutation.
Can be enjoyed frozen, as an aperitif or digestive aid.
On the nose, we guess a sweet liqueur flavored with cane sugar and coffee. The latter maintains a noticeable balance, made possible in part by a vanilla roundness that generously covers it all. With a little air, the coffee takes its cues and its lightness, but always keeps its most roasted side under control, which makes the experience always delicious and pleasant.
In the mouth, the roundness grips the palate to give it its melted cane sugar. The vanilla is there and slowly caresses the taste buds before the coffee slowly begins to diffuse. Once again, the latter is quite reasonable, it just gently impregnates the palate with its flavor and its roasted side.
