Hendrick’s Orbium is a new interpretation of the classic and popular Hendricks Gin of Master Distiller, Lesley Gracie. Here is added Kinin, wormwood and blue lotus flowers to give a unique experience. It is a brand new direction for gin to incorporate these taste, which is traditionally connected to Tonic (Kinin) and Vermouth (wormwood). The purpose is to explore new dimensions of gin.
The name “Orbium” comes from the word “Orb”, the majority form of “Orbis” and Latin for Circle. Gracie felt that this circular symbol represented the rounded nature of the ginner, and “The right eye” on the bottle also reflects this theme.
It is a complex gin with a finish that is unusually long. It starts florally and then go deeper and more bitter.
