Helsinki Distilling Company is the first distillery in Helsinki for over 100 years. The distillery is located in the old slaughterhouse, Teastamo, in the city’s gastropultural center. The three friends, Séamus Holohan, Kai Kilpinen and Mikko Mykkänen, who drives the distillery, have set themselves one goal: top quality with as far as possible local produce.

At Helsinki Distilling Company is not on the barning side, and the range includes both single malt whiskey and Rye, Gin, Aquavit, “Applejack” on Finnish apples, and “Lonkero” – a Finnish word for a kind of long drink made on gin and , most often, grapefruit.

Associated with the distillery is a formidable cocktail bar, Tislaamo, which is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!
