This wine consists of Graham’s Master Blender, Charles Symington, from wines stored in the cellar by his grandfather, grandfather, father and uncles. Graham’s 40-year-old Tawny is for those who appreciate the extraordinary, complex and subtle tastes of the time.
Time-honored skills, craftsmanship and dedication are handed down from generation to generation in the form of three unique arts – the art of mixing, the art of collaboration and the art of aging – to produce our extraordinary range of Tawny Ports. Each Graham’s Tawny Ports has its own individual characteristics, the complex flavors and aromas that permeate each of these unique wines have been developed by selecting only our high quality wines from Graham’s four spectacular Quinta in the Douro Valley for aging in spicy oak barrels in our 1890s ‘ere. Holiday home in Vila Nova de Gaia.
Smagnote
A golden amber color with a light green hue on the edge meaning old age. Extremely complex with a strong scent that rejects its age. On the palate, a variety of flavors from delicious fruits and raisins to toasted caramel and chocolate with a unique aftertaste.
Storage and serving
Fantastic wine alone as a dessert, an experience in itself. Serve chilled between 12 º and 16 º in a port glass or white wine glass of a reasonable size. It will stay healthy for four to six weeks once opened.
