Chateau Ste. Michelle – Riesling Columbia Valley 75 CL

Columbia Valley USA

Riesling thrives in the Columbia Valley area. Riesling is one of those grapes
which is excellent for making crisp, fresh white wines and when the grape gets
plenty of sun, the aromas become wonderfully floral and sweet in the middle of it
otherwise fine, slightly severe acid. This Riesling appears straight and clean, very elegant
and closes itself elegantly with the sweetness of white peaches and tangerines. Correct
lovely white wine and winemaker Bob Bertheau states that it is his own
favorite wine for fresh oysters.

Vinification: Cold fermented on steel tank.
Tasting notes:
Pure and simple Riesling, slim and classic and yet with a little
overseas touch and sweetness like white peaches and
mandarins.
Recommended for:
Cheese, Spicy food, Light poultry, Vegetarian dishes, Sush
