This is elegant Pomerol of the old school with restrained use of new oak and a not too violent extraction.
The blend is dominated by merlot with some cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc.
The vinification takes place first on concrete and then with relatively short storage in 225 liter oak barrels, of which approx. 20% are new.
Aroma and taste have a complex range of especially red berries, forest berries with a touch of tobacco and forest floor. The taste is elegant and rich and the aftertaste is dry in the ‘right’ way!
Château de Sales Pomerol 2018 can be enjoyed now, but also has aging potential if you prefer less structure and aging aromas.
Enjoy at a temperature of approx. 18° of spacious glasses for a classic roast without heavy accessories.

“Wonderful chocolate, berry and vanilla aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied, with velvety tannins and a luscious finish. A beauty. Cool little Pomerol here.”
