Nice, dark and amber-colored 8-year-old rum with very pleasant hints of oak and ripe bananas. Nice balance between the spicy note from the oak and a delicate sweetness, followed by a nuanced finish.

Cane Island focuses on rums from the Caribbean and Central America. The goal is to best show the characteristics that characterize the rooms from where they come. Cane Island’s rums come as Single Island Blends and Single Estate Rums. Single Island Blends are rum blends from different distilleries on the same island, while Single Estate Rums come from the same distillery. All of Cane Island’s rums are aged in the tropics, where the aging is three times more intense than in more temperate climates, because the climate of the Caribbean increases the interaction between the rum and the cask.
