Lucas Bols’ produced his first geneva in 1664. Originally geneva was drunk unmixed – the dram was nicknamed ‘Dutch courage’ – but geneva later became the driving force behind the cocktail’s popularity in the United States in the 19th century. 30ml Galliano L’Aperitvo
30ml Sweet vermouth
How to make a Red Light Negroni
Pour all the ingredients with ice in a mixing glass, and stir well. Strain into a rocks glass and garnish with an orange twist.
