Ballechin 19 Years 2004 Vintage Madeira Casks 70 cl. 53,5%
Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
The peated version of Edradour, this Ballechin has aged for 19 years in Madeira casks before being bottled at its natural strength. With a beautiful golden color, this single malt possesses a smoky and fruity profile where the influence of Madeira wine (prune and quince) combines brilliantly with the smoky notes of the whisky.
The Edradour distillery is primarily known for the unique style of its single malt, which is exported all over the world. Andrew Symington, the distillery owner, has ventured into increasingly original specific finishes (Burgundy, Chardonnay, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Madeira, Moscatel, Port, Sassicaia, Tokaji, etc), allowing for a refreshing of the distillery’s style.
